By-Laws

The Woodhaven-Edgemont Homeowners’ Association, set up as a not-for-profit organization, comes under the requirements of the Societies Act, and operates under a set of bylaws that dictate the association’s scope of responsibilities and activities. Changes or amendments to the bylaws (if any) are discussed and voted on by Home Owners at each Annual General Meeting.

Architectural Guidelines

The master planning in the area took into consideration not only incorporation of nature around, but as well ensuring the architecture makes the neighbourhood fit in flawlessly. The Architectural guidelines have been established to preserve the design, finish, and construction of the homes in Woodhaven-Edgemont. The landscaping quality does not fall short when it comes to the overall design of these homes. The architectural styles created for Woodhaven – Edgemont respect the uniqueness of the surrounding environment while allowing for individual tastes reflected in each home. The HOA Board strongly encourages the community members to adhere to the guidelines to preserve the beauty of the community we live in.

Encumbrance / Fee Payments

In order for the Woodhaven-Edgemont Homeowners’ Association to carry out its responsibilities and activities in accordance with the by-laws, it requires funding. That funding has been assured through the requirement of an annual payment (Annuity) by each homeowner. The responsibility of the homeowner to make this payment is ensured through the placement of an encumbrance on the title of each property, as originally set out by the developer, along with any fees and interest costs incurred in obtaining the payments.
